Earlier this week I had the opportunity to speak with the promoters of the Tennessee Motorcycles & Music Revival which is being hosted at the Loretta Lynn Ranch. It was my first time speaking with Carrie and Buck from R & R Promotions, and I’m glad I did. Both were approachable, easy to converse with, and eagerly answered all my questions.
In speaking with Buck, he wants an event that is “real, based on integrity, and good value,” and I believe that is exactly what you will get. Both Buck and Carrie have been in motorcycle industry one way or another for decades and R & R has been working motorcycle events for 25 years, so if anybody can put on a great event at an even better location, it would be them. Their client list is impressive, from the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally to the Toys in the Sun Run which is in my neck of the woods.
The event is scheduled for September 28 through October 1st at Loretta Lynn’s Ranch which is located at 44 Hurricane Mills, Hurricane Mills, Tennessee. With 400 acres and 4,500 campsites, it already has the foundation to be an excellent event. But, sprinkle almost four decades worth of experience by hosting the AMA- American Motorcyclist Association Amateur National Championship, and now they are bringing experience to the table.
What’s even better is that Loretta Lynn is expected to perform. Considering the 85 year old country music legend had suffered a stroke in early May, that should bring a smile to everyone’s lips and that alone is more than enough motivation to attend the event. Of course, riding through beautiful countryside of Hurricane Mills and Tennessee doesn’t hurt either. Many blessings to Ms. Lynn and I’m sure she’ll put on a great show as always.
The four day motorcycle event will also benefit M-22 (Mission 22), a charity that focuses on bringing awareness to veteran suicide and PTSD. For more information on M-22, follow this link.
As more information becomes available, I’ll continue to post it.
