Above is a video interview with Harley Davidson Motorcycles CEO Matt Levatich that took place with Fox Business News. The outspoken CEO, Levatich, speaks about the issues Harley Davidson Motorcycle Company faces with the high tariffs on imports from countries such as India (100% tariff), China (90%), Indonesia and luxury taxes plus tariffs in Japan. Levatich believes the best opportunity for HOG to expand is by expanding into foreign markets. Currently, Harley Davidson sells in 90 different countries worldwide.
CEO Levatich had a meeting with President Trump to discuss these issues and is optimistic steps could be taken to improve tariffs and the current tax structure.
