–Lyrics to Happy Days Theme Song written by Norman Gimbel and Charles Fox

Remember Happy Days? Who didn’t love Arthur Fonzarelli, aka Fonzie, that would snap his fingers and women would flock to him. Who didn’t want to be “The Fonz,” always dressed like a greaser with his jeans and leather jacket, but even better, his motorcycle.

Well, now someone can dress like Fonzi, great idea for a Halloween party, and ride on the Fonze’s 1949 Triumph TR5 to the party, with $179,000 less in their pocket.

The iconic Hollywood motorcycle was sold via Julien’s Auctions Hollywood Legends this past week. With a little luck, you could even try to “jump the shark.”

And by the way, an interesting fact, initially, Fonzi was riding a Harley Davidson Knucklehead, but it was too heavy and the Fonze wasn’t a great rider or comfortable even riding a motorcycle, that’s why most scenes had him just sitting on the motorcycle. In a quick switch, the show replaced the Harley with the much lighter Triumph and was built with spare parts, thus, it’s a custom motorcycle.
