This past weekend at the Colorado Motorcycle Expo at the National Western Complex, violence erupted between two rival motorcycle clubs. Shots were fired from multiple shooters resulting in one fatality, a stabbing, and three others in critical, yet, stable condition. Others suffered lesser injuries as well. The following day, the motorcycle expo was canceled.
Attorneys for both clubs are now speaking out on and blaming each other. The motorcycle clubs involved are the The Iron Order MC and the Mongols MC.
Through their Attorney, the Mongols, MC stated they were attacked first by the Iron Order MC while the Iron Order claims they fought back in self-defense. Regardless of which version is true, this only continues to put all clubs on the radars of law enforcement. It also makes you think twice before you step into any motorcycle event, a lesson learned by many innocent people at the deadly Twin Peaks Waco Shootout.
