Today is the funeral of Juan “Compa” Martinez, the chapter president of El Paso for the Bandidos Motorcycle Club.
Martinez died on August 3 in the hospital after being shot during a fight at Mulligan’s Chopped Hog Bar. The shooting took place on July 30th. Three other bikers were also shot during the fight.
Thirty-four year old, Javier Gonzalez, who is believed to be a member the Kinfolk Motorcycle Club, was arrested in connection with the shooting.
The funeral mass and interment are scheduled for today, Saturday, August 12th. The mass will begin at 10 am at St.Mark’s Catholic Church located at 11700 Pebble Hills. The interment will be at Evergreen East Cemetery which is located at 12400 East Montana.
Martinez was known as a successful businessman, having a company that helped individuals file for disability claims with Social Security.
