And So it Begins, Waco Twin Peaks Biker Shootout-

Jury selection started Tuesday in the case of Christopher “Jake” Carrizal, the Dallas chapter president of the Bandidos M.C., and ended Wednesday with eleven men and three women (including two alternates) chosen for the jury. Carrizal is the first one to stand trial in a long list of defendants, over one hundred fifty, as opening statements are heard.

So far, 450 witnesses have been listed; enough for one trial to bankrupt the small corrupt town of  Waco. Just imagine what another 154 trials will do.

Outside of the courthouse, media reports and social media confirms it looks more like the President of the United States is scheduled to appear at the Waco Courthouse with the amount of security that is present. I guess they expect the Bandidos to ride by on their Harleys and shoot up the place since SAMCRO isn’t available.

Jurors will have to walk through all the extra security and it is hard to believe that won’t have an impact on them one way or another. Assuming you can find twelve jurors who know little to nothing about the case, the atmosphere is one of danger and intimidation and the only ones that could be blamed in the mind of the jury are the defendants. By the way, in my business they say a jury is comprised of twelve people not smart enough to get out of jury duty.

Meanwhile, D.A. Abel Reyna made the opening statements for the state, a rarity for a lead D.A. since that position is usually involved in the day-to-day operations internally/administratively of the office, not in the courtroom trying case(s).

Oddly enough while he is arguing his case, the 203rd District Court found probable cause to request a Court of Inquiry on whether D.A. Reyna and/or Detective Manuel Chavez, committed perjury in a prior hearing. All in a day’s work at the Waco Courthouse. At least his former law partner recused himself as judge from one of the cases. That only took two years.

I’ve also noticed that large mainstream media is beginning to pick up this story. That could only help to get to the bottom of the truth.
